Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach, “Jesu, meine Freude” (BWV 227) is a motet for voices. Anchorites performed it with a period chamber orchestra on March 14, 2026, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Baltimore, on the same program as Buxtehude’s “Membra Jesu Nostri”.
