Four Madrigals

Composed by Ned Rorem, “Four Madrigals” is one of three Rorem works Anchorites performed on October 3, 2026, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Baltimore, alongside “From an Unknown Past” and “Ode to Man”, as part of a program exploring Rorem’s underappreciated vocal ensemble music alongside fifteenth- and sixteenth-century repertoire.
