Alex Rivera is a composer working across chamber music, electroacoustic
sound, and scores for the moving image. Their work draws on coastal
field recordings and slow harmonic change, and has been performed by
ensembles internationally. Recent work includes the chamber cycle
"Shoreline Abstractions" and the score for the short film "Glass
Orchard."
